His laugh. When I think of our very first conversation ever, that?s the first thing that comes to my mind. When Raj laughs, its like you want to stop whatever you are doing, just so that you can listen to him. I was in office, the first time we spoke and a few hours later I was seated opposite him in a coffee shop. Five and a half hours. That was how long our first date was. I can hardly remember what we were chatting about, but marriage seemed to dominate the conversation apparently. Since here I am, two months later happily typing this out having returned from my honeymoon a day ago. I?m convinced. Heaven does have an official website. It?s called Shaadi.com.

Pooja: I reluctantly accepted the idea of visiting Shaadi.com after my brother made my profile. More than reaching out to people I started reviewing the interests expressed in my profile. After reading a couple of profiles I somehow decided to revisit his profile :-). His earnestly written section on self made me email him and Bingo!! as he mentions we got on to chatting and then later just decided to get married. I believe such things are meant to happen. But thanks to Shaadi .com for providing us the platform. Pankaj: As might be common for visitors I just had not been meeting the right people and thought why not give shaadi.com a try. The interface was easy and I was able to reach out to many profiles. Something struck me about Pooja's profile and we started with chatting and then a few months down the line we were quite sure that this was it!! Thanks to Shaadi.com, we found each other :-)

Mayank had expressed an interest in my profile, and I responded back on November 14th, 2010. We talked the same night for about two hours, and we found an instant connection. He is a doctor just like myself, and we had so much in common. Since then, we have fallen madly in love with each other. We met several times, and we grew fond of each other more and more. He loves my bubbly side and I respect him for his knowledge and wisdom. We have become each others best friends, confidants, and soul mates. The families met in March, and everyone gave us their blessings for the relationship. We got engaged on March 27th, 2011, and we will be starting our life together on May 6th as husband and wife. We are both very happy to have met each other. We both want to thank Shaadi.com for giving us a place to meet and getting to know each other. Our relationship would not have been possible without this website. My advise to all the single people out there searching for their soul mates is that don\'t steoreotype people on the website as well as the process of meeting someone on line. We never know when and where we might meet that special person. So keep and open mind, and don\'t give up your dreams.

I signed up on Shaadi.com after being recommended by a friend who suggested it was a good way to meet new people and importantly people seriously looking at getting into a relationship. I had never even heard of the site before but was happy to give it a try and signed up and paid my first 3 months subscription. I met my wife within a week of signing up and we exchanged messages on the site before arranging to speak on the phone.The conversations continued for a week before we decided to meet up in London where we both lived and worked. On our first meeting because we had spoken on the phone so often it was like we already knew each other. I asked Navneet to marry me just 9 days after our first contact on the website and we were married 3 months later with the blessing of both our families. We have now been married nearly 4 years and have a beautiful little daughter. We have since recorded a TV advert for Shaddi.com, featured in a Shaadi.com poster campaign on London Underground and been interviewed by lots of radio stations as well as a National UK newspaper.
