Matter for Shaadi.com As they say marriages are made in heaven; ours needed a platform to meet here one on this planet!!! Shaadi.com proved to be that same platform for me, where I could meet the man of my dreams. Vaibhav and I met on Shaadi.com on June 13th, 2016. While he was in Canada and me in India, time difference was always a hassle but within a few days of talking, we established a good bond and spent hours talking on phone. Sooner than we had planned, Vaibhav came to India in the month of September. The first meeting was coupled with excitement and nervousness at the same time. The best part of our meeting was the comfort level established between the two of us. The very next day he met with my cousins and sisters and to my surprise, they loved him to the core. After Vaibhav went back to Canada, the conversations between both our parents began to start. It was on January 29th 2017 that my parents visited his parents house in Delhi and a week later, we invited his family to our place in Mohali. It felt like we were on a roller coaster ride as everything was finalized on March 5th, 2017 and a month later on April 18th we got married. Vaibhav is not just my life partner, but a good friend, and a supporter too. A dream was fulfilled through this online matrimonial website. Thank you Shaadi.com and keep shining!

Indeed marriages are decided in heaven and just performed on earth.". I give thanks that the marriage made in heaven is now manifested upon earth through Shaadi.com. My many, many thanks to Shaadi.com, who made me meet my soul mate. We met almost four years back on this portal, kept contacts with each other. This year in Feb 2017 we tied knot, with the blessing of our elders and near family members. My in-laws, my maternal uncle and aunt played a vital role in making my and Ashishs marriage happen. Thanks a lot to Shaadi.com for bringing us both together!!!

Well, I registered on Shaadi as my parents forced me to. The hunt went on and on.. It was about to be an year since the search started but before it could reach there I got a request from my dearest hubby.. I went through his profile and accepted it, he was not an engineer like me but he was an architect. I think I was happy as our fields were different. Then the immediate week they came to my home, we both spoke, we had a rapport, we laughed, we shared our likes dislikes, our parents spoke and everything clicked so quick. It was like that phrase in hindi "Chat Mangni Phat Byah". The week after we met was our engagement(4th December 2016). And now we are happily married :) :) we are totally opposite but we just love each other the way we are and compliment each other when needed :) :) hope the story wasn't too big ;) Regards, Apoorva

For both Keron and me, meeting someone online was the last option. I am a confident man who always thought that I would find someone on my own and will live happily ever after however, life take funny turns. I spent majority of my 20's and early thirties pursuing a career that did not afford me the luxuries of dating and finding a life mate. Similarly Keron was also too busy focusing on her career. One fine day, my family asked me to look online and as a way to thwart of their 'persistent 'encouragement, I signed up on Shaadi.com. I wanted to make sure that whomever decided to contact me must be comfortable with my typical american upbringing and habits. I posted a picture of me from my last day of medical school celebrating with my batman shirt and holding Champaign. I also had additional pictures with me enjoying Guinness or scotch. This was designed to filter out "parents" searching for their daughters because, it was imperative for me to find a girl that was independent with a good mix of east and west values. Low and behold, I saw an interest from this gorgeous girl from Canada who had seen through my pictures and read my profile. I immediately converted my account from free to paid so I can communicate with her. I started studying for my USMLE step 1 exams and had to turn off all social media and thus I forgot that I had written to Keron. After my exams, I logged in and noticed that she had written back to me right away however, I had not responded back to her in 3 mos. I was sad that I had missed my chance to connect with her. I decided that I would take a chance and write to her to see if she was still interested. The plot thickens, I still remember the date I wrote to Keron again, it was March 18,2015. Apparently, Keron was on her way to NYC on that day, but her plane was delayed on tarmac. She saw notification and decided that she will check her messages. After viewing my message, she did not reply for three days. She showed my profile to her sister and her family and asked their opinion. Her sister suggested that She should write back and talk to me. After that fine day, she wrote me back and suggested that we start talking on whatsapp. Some 4 GB of chats on whatsapp, we decided to facetime. I remember my first words to her were.. "wow there is a face that I can wake up next to for the rest of my life", I knew I had to go to Canada to meet her in person. I had cleared USMLE Step 1 and was starting my medical rotations in New Jersey in May that year so we decided to meet. We met on June 5, 2016, I remember walking out of the airport in scrubs because I had a late call that day and despite my "worked all day appearance" she gave me a big hug and a kiss and told me that she was looking forward to this since we started chatting face to face. As they say rest is history. We continued to meet at least once a month and sometimes twice a month crossing border and meeting each other and respective families. I met her sister and her family in NJ and she spent time with my friends. After getting her family's blessing, she came and met my family in IL. My family was ecstatic and found her to be pleasant, intelligent and someone who is going to keep me on my "toes". I proposed to her on August 15, 2015 and after a brief pause, she said "YES". We decided that we should get Civil ceremony in US and have a traditional marriage in INDIA. Our civil ceremony was attended by her family from Canada and USA and My family was present from Illinois. After this celebration, we kept seeing each other once/twice a month crossing border because I was still doing my rotations and Keron was working on her MBA. We went to India for our grand wedding in July 2016. I truly feel that I have found someone that is my best friend and my soul mate. I hope this story inspires you to look online and search for your partner.
