It has always be said that one should try to make their search criteria as flexible as possible in order to generate the most matches..well...I did the exact opposite! I placed everything I wanted in the profile search and ended up with 1 profile! The picture was a really nice one and it didn't look like this American was interested in any Canadians. Needless to say, it didn't look very promising but I wrote a small note anyway. Surprisingly, he wrote back and that started out emailing dating. After a couple weeks, we graduated to telephone dating and then finally the BIG MEETING 2 months later. We met in NYC and ended up spending the whole day together - instant attraction! We got engaged about a month later and have now recently tied the knot in April.
